I have a love of food and books. Music is my thing.
Lightly drizzling upon the ground,
So quiet it hardly made a sound.
But that’s why I love a little rain,
It quiets my mind and soothes my pain.
The pain from stress and daily life,
And also of my family’s strife.
But all I have to do is stop and listen,
And look outside as it gleams and glistens.
From every leaf and every stone,
Establishing a similar, iridescent tone.
They were beautiful in every single way,
If only they would forever stay.
And now the raindrops are leaving,
Only to return another evening.
I’ll miss their soothing quietness,
Without them there can be no bliss.
Ultimately it’s a matter of time,
Because when they return I’ll be just fine.
